Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts and Probate Attorney — Serving Indian Wells, Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, La Quinta and Indio, California
Helene P. Dreyer Koch
I help people find peace of mind by working with them to create a comprehensive estate plan that addresses their concerns for themselves and their loved ones in the event of disability or death.
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) in 1987 and my Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 1992. I am a member of American Mensa, Ltd., the state and local bar associations, and a past member of the Warren E. Slaughter / Richard I. Roemer American Inn of Court. I am involved in the community, serving on planned giving committees for several local charities and the governing board of another. For the past several years, I have been named among the area’s top estate planning attorneys by Palm Springs Life Magazine.
I am a legal specialist certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization in Estate Planning, including Wills, Trusts and Probate. Though I have experience in a variety of legal fields, I find estate planning and probate to be the most satisfying and that is my primary devotion. My estate planning and trust practice gives me the opportunity to help clients explore their options and achieve solutions to very personal and emotional concerns. My probate practice allows me to alleviate some of the stress of the grieving process by helping clients navigate the court system and conclude their loved one’s final affairs.
To further these goals and stay in tune with the latest development and trends in estate planning, I am an active member of WealthCounsel, a collaborative community of top estate planning professionals throughout the country. My interactions with these colleagues, as well as the continuing legal education and seminars the group provides, keeps me on the cutting edge of the newest estate planning and probate approaches and solutions.
Estate planning and probate are crucial to the well being of my clients and their families and I am grateful for the opportunity to be involved in the process.
